Indio, CA, February 17, 2023 -- It's a date! The family-favorite Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival opens tomorrow, Friday, February 17, and there's a lot to know before you go!
Season Passes: Today is the last day to purchase Season Passes that provide admission to all 10 days of the Fair & Date Fest. They WILL NOT be available after midnight tonight.
Carnival wristband pre-sales: Today is the last chance to save, then prices go up from $30 online to $32 on weekdays and $37 on weekends (plus a $2 fee).
More Online Savings: Save time and money when you buy tickets online. Gate Admission remains $10 online but rises to $15 when buying in person
Grandstand Lineup: The Fair & Date Fest kicks off with the DEMO DERBY! All tickets (except Pancho Barraza) start at $5!
Free Attractions: There is more to do than anyone could see in one day! Many attractions are free of charge, including the Sea Lion Splash, Balloonacy, Wild Science, BMX stunts, Pirate Ship, Aladdin, and the Beer Garden Stage. Grandstand Arena Entertainment: These require a separate ticket, so reserve your seat for the big show starting at $5! Community Celebration: This year, the Fair & Date Fest celebrates the CV community with the return of blue-ribbon competitions; an expanded community stage; the Aladdin show; participation by Out at the Fair; and the high school scholarship competition!
Safety First: Your safety is always top-of-mind. This year the Fair & Date Fest introduces Evolv Technologies, the fastest and most secure admissions screening system in the event industry. No need to empty your pockets, stroller, or wheelchair. No need to even pause! Guests can now stream through any admissions gate without delay, meaning more time for fun! With safety remaining a top priority of the Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival, all youth under the age of eighteen (18) are required to be accompanied by an adult age 21+ to be admitted to the Fairgrounds after 6 pm. Any person entering may be asked to show a valid California Driver's License, Identification Card, or other Government issued ID. Youth under eighteen (18) not accompanied by an adult will not be admitted after 6:00 pm. Exceptions to this policy will be at the discretion of Fair Management.
Park Smarter: General parking for the Fair & Date Fest is located on Oasis Street between Avenue 48 and Dr. Carreon Blvd. If you're coming from the 10 freeway, exit on Monroe and follow event signs. Please see the map below.
