Dr. Mark Izzo, PhD, Co-Founder of Airly Foods and Chief Science Officer
Dr. Mark Izzo, PhD, Co-Founder of Airly Foods and Chief Science Officer, spearheads product development. Mark grew up in a family of food innovators and followed in his father’s footsteps to earn a doctorate in food science and then spend over 35 years making America’s food supply tastier, healthier and more accessible. Later in his career Mark developed a passion to use his experience to help solve one of our most pressing challenges, climate change. With new research emerging in agriculture and climate science, Izzo knew the time was right to partner with his scientific colleagues in these fields and act now to develop foods that have a wholesome focus as well as honor our planet.
Jennifer McKnight, Co-Founder of Airly Foods and Chief Marketing Officer
Jennifer McKnight, Co-Founder of Airly Foods and Chief Marketing Officer, leads all marketing efforts for Airly. Jen’s undergraduate degree is in mechanical engineering, and she’s always loved tackling complex problems. She went on to get her MBA at Kellogg School of Management and enter a career in brand management. She has been privileged to work on a range of iconic brands across many categories. Bringing Airly to life has been a labor of love, and Jen is excited to be tackling one her most interesting and important challenges to date...getting the word out about the role we all can play in tackling climate change together.
Kris Corbin, Co-Founder of Airly Foods and Chief Supply Chain Officer
Kris Corbin, Co-Founder of Airly Foods and Chief Supply Chain Officer, leads all phases of manufacturing and distribution for Airly. Kris grew up working on a farm in southwestern Ohio working row crops, baling hay and raising live stock. These early farming experiences rooted him in the agriculture community and sparked his passion for making food. After completing his degree in Agriculture and Food Science at The Ohio State University, Corbin has years of experience leading food manufacturing organizations and brands through value added disruptive change innovation to meet new consumer demands, and now, with Climate change being one of the most pressing consumer needs, Kris has leveraged his long-standing ties to the agriculture community and expert knowledge of food manufacturing to bring Airly Oat Clouds to market to help reverse climate change.
